We headed over to Aunt Laura's, Uncle Todd's and Mary's house today for one of Uncle Todd's infamous Shrimp Boils. Andrew LOVED helping prep the food by throwing everything into the pot!!

Cards vs. Cubs Game

Today Steve, Andrew and I headed downtown to enjoy the last game of the regular season at Busch Stadium. We met Uncle Todd, Aunt Laura and Mary for a fun, relaxing afternoon.

Octoberfest in O'Fallon

This afternoon we headed on over the river to O'Fallon, IL to enjoy some fun, live music, beer and brats with the Bruemer side of the family. The weather was great and everyone had a blast!!

Picnic at Shaw Park with Delta Gamma

This morning I headed with the boys to Shaw Park for a picnic put on by Delta Gamma and the Society for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Todd, Laura and Mary met us for the fun...not only were there plenty of playgrounds, but lots of activities for the children, clowns, balloons, face painting, BBQ, bubbles and a visit from Fred Bird!!

Andrew's 1st Day of Preschool

Today is Andrew's first day of preschool and he couldn't be more excited. Our little boy is growing up so fast and we are loving every minute of it!!

Happy Labor Day

Well, we finished this fun-filled weekend with a pool party and BBQ over at Steve's parents' house. We had to get one last pool time in before it's closed for the year. As always, the boys had a blast playing with all of their cousins and it was nice to kick-back and relax poolside :)

This morning we celebrated Mary Grace's Baptism into the Catholic Church. Mary and two little boys were welcomed and celebrated by the entire congregation at St. Nicholas' Church. It was a wonderful ceremony and Mary was a perfect little angel.

Andrew's 1st Dentist Visit

This afternoon Andrew and I went out to lunch and then headed to the Dentist for Andrew's first check-up. We had been talking this appointment up and figured it was either going to go really well or really badly...Andrew could not have done better!! He was so excited to sit in the special seat and opened up wide for a cleaning. He did everything asked of him and left with a wide smile, new toothbrush and bouncy ball - what more could a little boy ask from the Dentist :)
