It's a...

...nother !! Yes, Andrew is going to have a little brother and I am definitely out numbered!! We are super excited and can't wait to meet our new little guy. We are looking forward to Andrew and his brother being close buds :) We actually get another ultrasound in four weeks for more measurements, but all looks great so far and we are thankful for a healthy baby. We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving today!!

Movin' On Up

Andrew had his one year check-up today and has gained a whole percent!! Andrew is in the 4th percentile for height (+1%) and in the 3rd percentile for his weight. He has been in this range since birth and is right on track based on his chart. Steve and I are still waiting for that growth spurt that supposedly all tots go through, but Andrew is growing and that is all that matters. He was a champ through two more shots and loved trying to take all of the instruments out of the doctor's hand. Who would have known that a tongue suppressor could entertain a little one through a check-up?!?!

Congratulations, Spalitto Family!!

Congratulations to Uncle Pete, Aunt Susan, Olivia and Anna on the news that they will be welcoming a son/brother into their family in April!! We are so excited for you and can't wait to meet the little guy!!

Happy 1st Birthday, Andrew!!

We cannot believe our baby is one today!! Everyone says how fast the time will go by and to enjoy every minute, but it just seemed like yesterday that Steve and I were welcoming Andrew into this world. Every single day of Andrew's life has been absolutely amazing and we cannot remember our lives without him. Andrew, we love you more than anything and cannot wait for the next years to come!! Happy 1st Birthday, Sweetheart!!

Andrew's First Birthday Party

We celebrated Andrew's 1st birthday yesterday with a house full of family and friends. Andrew had a great time playing with his cousins & friends, as well as eating birthday cake & ice cream and opening presents. Thanks to everyone for making this such a special event for Andrew - we hope you all had a great time!!

To Our Veterans

There cannot be enough said for all our veterans have done to preserve our freedom and secure and protect our nation from all the tyranny around the world. We are very blessed to have several veterans among our family who we are more than proud of - Pops (US Army), Pa Pa (US Navy - Special Forces), Uncle Ed (US Army) and Uncle Pete (US Army). Thanks to all of the veterans out there who have done more than we could have ever asked for!!

A HUGE thank you to Grandma & Pops and Gigi & Pa Pa for watching Andrew. We were glad to hear he was a good boy and kept you entertained :) He loves his sleep overs with you and Mom & Dad sure appreciate it!! Thanks again for taking great care of our little guy!!

It's Better in the Bahamas

Steve and I celebrated our 5 year Wedding Anniversary with a three-night cruise to the Bahamas. We ported from Miami Friday, toured the Bahamas on Saturday, were at Sea on Sunday and returned Monday. It was a fabulous get-a-way!!

Happy Halloween!!

We celebrated Andrew's first Halloween yesterday. We were having a difficult time deciding whether Andrew should dress up as a "Big Brother" or a "Monkey." Both suited him perfectly, but we decided to go with the Monkey costume for the actual festivities :)

Yes, Andrew is going to be a "Big Brother"!! We are just thrilled!! The news came a little earlier than expected, but we couldn't be happier. We are expecting to welcome another member to our family in late April. We are excited to share the news with family and friends, so please help spread the great news :)
