A FULL day of FUN!!

Right after breakfast, we packed up and headed into Downtown Chicago to start our day.  We had so much planned and were able to fit it all in :)

We started our day at the Chicago Children's Museum and couldn't keep up with Andrew and Mary.  And of course half the time they were going in opposite directions!!

Andrew started on this humongous obstacle course.  We all kind of said a little prayer he would make it to the top :)

About half way there.

Uncle Todd waiting for him almost at the top - this thing was HUGE!!

He made it and now it was all downhill :)

Making his way through the tunnel.

Controlling a bulldozer.

The water room.

Andrew watched a pulley system for a good couple of minutes to figure out how it worked.  I loved the concentration on his little face as he mastered the concept :)

He told me we needed teamwork to fill up the bucket with water and then dump it out - Andrew told me exactly what to do - ha!!

Off to fight some fires.

Putting out the flames.

Just Andrew - Mary didn't want to be a Dalmatian :)

Daddy rescuing Andrew!!

Pic in the gardens while waiting for our table for lunch.

The Ferris Wheel at Navy Pier.

Cousins waiting patiently in line :)

Leading the way after the awesome ride on the Ferris Wheel.

Taking a bit of a break.

This may be one of my favorite pictures of my brother, Todd.  What you do for your nephew!!

Two peas in a pod :)

Cousins!!

The Bruemer Family :)

We ended the day by taking an Architectural and Historical Cruise through the Chicago River.  The kids loved the boat ride and cookies while the adults learned something!!

Suson Park & Picnic Lunch

Today we headed to Suson Park to finally check it out.  We have been told what a great park it is, but just never got around to visiting it.  The weather was absolutely perfect and we decided to head that way :)  What a fantastic afternoon!!

Andrew and I had the day together while Nathan was in school and we stayed as busy as ever OUTSIDE!!  It was a gorgeous day and we were able to take full advantage :)

These goats are relentless!!
