Bubble Picnic

We headed to Parkway's Early Childhood Center for a fun Bubble Picnic today. They had SO many activities with bubbles - Andrew was in heaven and Nathan couldn't stop following all of the bubbles. And, of course we had to spend time on the playground!!

Family Time

We had a relaxing Friday night with a quick dinner and nice walk around the neighborhood with the boys. We LOVE being outside and enjoying the beautiful weather!!

Andrew's 1st Day of Preschool!!

Today was Andrew's first day of preschool. He has been talking about school for a long time and was so excited the day was finally here. I was a bit nervous how Andrew would actually handle the first day especially since Steve and I had been out of town away from the boys over the holiday weekend. Our little boy didn't even flinch - he was out of the car and off to his classroom with no problems :)

We did the whole drop-off process, but then Steve, Nathan and I sneaked into school to see how Andrew was adjusting. I couldn't find him at first and then started laughing as I see him at the easel painting. We all couldn't stop laughing knowing that Andrew had already made himself at home and he was just fine.

All smiles after his first day when we got home - notice the paint all over his shirt!?!? His teacher was apologetic as she couldn't get a smock on Andrew fast enough :)

All Grown Up

Today Andrew got a haircut so he would look his best for preschool next week :) This is the shortest Andrew's hair has been and he looks so grown up. You should have seen how excited he was to have it styled with gel...

Grant's Farm!!

Today we headed to Grant's Farm. It was a bit on the warm side, but a great breeze kept it bearable. The boys LOVED riding on the tram and Andrew couldn't get enough of all the animals. I couldn't believe how he just walked right up to all the animals to pet them. We had a great time!!

Today we headed over to Grandma and Pops' house to celebrate Pops' birthday with the whole family. Andrew had a great time playing with his cousins and singing Happy Birthday to Pops. We all enjoyed a great dinner and of course birthday cake and ice cream!!

Time is REALLY flying by and our precious baby boy is GROWING up!! We are trying to drop the "baby" while referring to Nathan, but Andrew is adament that it's his Baby Nate :)

Happy Birthday, Gigi!!

Today we headed over to my brother's house to spend the day with my family and celebrate my Mom's birthday. The day started off a bit alarming, but everything ended up alright - thank goodness!! Our next door neighbors had to dial 911 and we had an ambulance and fire truck in the front of our house. My parents were on their way to pick up Andrew and I knew they would think the worst - that the emergency crew was there for us. We all waited outside to greet my parents (what a sigh of relief for them) and to make sure everything was okay with our neighbors. After everything settled down, we were then off for the day.
