FUN-Filled Saturday

WOW, did we have a lot going on and we actually missed two other events today if you can imagine it!!  We started off today with Hippo Therapy for the boys.  They both did great and worked really hard.  From there we went to Daniel's Farm with Delta Gamma for some fun festivities at the pumpkin patch :)

Heading through the farm.

After Daniel's Farm, we grabbed lunch and headed to our local firehouse.  Every year they host a Fall Festival that draws a huge crowd.  The boys love seeing all of the fire trucks, participating in the activities they provide and learning a lot about fire safety :)

We filled our hole fast!!

Steve and Andrew went into a simulated house that taught about fire safety - they were upstairs and downstairs and practiced what to do on each level if there was a fire.

Nathan all smiles while waiting with Mommy.

After the firehouse, we headed home to meet Uncle Todd, Aunt Laura and Mary AND get ready for a birthday party.  We were watching Mary while Todd and Laura went to the Navy Ball.

It ended up that I stayed home with Mary and Nathan while Andrew and Daddy headed to the party.  Nathan had kind of a rough night, followed by this LONG day and was still down for a nap when the party started.  It worked out nice because I was able to get the little ones down for bedtime and Andrew and Daddy were able to stay at the party later into the night :)
