Interperiodic IFSP
We held another IFSP this afternoon to discuss Nathan starting Toddler Class at SJID - St. Joseph's Institute for the Deaf and to get fitted for an adaptive stroller. Now that Nathan is getting around better with his walker, SJID is ready to work with him in a school setting. Their Toddler Class is just for 2 and 3 year olds and is absolutely AMAZING!! We are so excited to be having this conversation and for approval to start. We also discussed the fact that Nathan is a big boy and has grown out of our stroller. We are seeking an adaptive stroller that can support Nathan in a good upright position and can grow with him over the next couple of years. These strollers are great for kiddos with physical needs but also come with a significant price tag. We are trying a couple out and hope to get one that will help Nathan with the majority of his needs.
