Eye Patching

Nathan had another check-up with his ophthalmologist today. Ever since Nathan was born, we have been seeing his ophthalmologist every six months for continuous exams to make sure his eyes are okay. Nathan has always seemed to cross his eyes and then correct them quickly, but it seems as though Nathan's left eye is a bit more weaker than his right. So, we were told today to start patching Nathan's right eye for about 2 hours per day to make his left eye work a bit harder. It's another thing to add on to what seems like a never-ending list for Nathan, but he tolerates it well and hopefully it will do the trick and in the end prevent surgery. The eyes are an amazing organ and one that we want as strong as possible for Nathan especially due to his hearing loss.

Here's our little "Patch."
