Nathan's First Cold

So after a few days of mild congestion, Nathan finally hit his first cold head on. We started him on Amoxicillin and hope we caught this early enough that it doesn't get too serious. After a couple of days on the antibiotics, Nathan had a check-up with his Audiologist who noticed severe pressure in both his ears. After this news, we were on our way to the Pediatrician. Much to our surprise, Nathan did not have an ear infection in either ear!! We were so happy with this news and just continued on with his antibiotics. We did get another prescription just in case since it was the day before Christmas Eve, but thankfully Nathan pulled through and fought off his first cold with one round of antibiotics. We are praying for a smooth Christmas and celebrating the holidays!!
