Nathan was fitted with his hearing aids today!! Nathan cooperated very well and we are off to a great start. Steve and I are still getting used to handling them and getting them in Nathan's ears correctly. We know with time it will become second nature, but right now we are still on the learning curve. We are in a "trial period" with these particular hearing aids for a few months until we know these are the best fit for Nathan. As he gets older, he'll be able to tell us with more cues, but for now we rely on his reactions to different sounds. He's only pulled them out twice so far...we're hoping it wasn't on purpose and he forgets they are even there. He very aware to noise and we are loving all of his facial expressions!!
